I'm sorry, I should've made myself clearer in regards to the ignorant point of view, I just meant that in regards to the free show and Jon not talking about Richie.
In regards to the refund thing...You don't know what went on behind the scenes. Sure, Jon could've said they'd go on with the show, but down the line the refunds announcement only came once fans started harassing the shit out of Matt on Twitter, and I know Eventim (German promoter) has been contacted several times in regards to a refund. If you only change your mind once you find out fans aren't as open to accepting a replacement and wind up with your back against the wall in regards to the support you "need", how upright are you really?
An artist with integrity would've canceled or postponed like most big bands would do if one of their key members is down. They'd contact the fanbase, give them a clear update, make refunds available if wanted and then move on to planning things the other way around. I know that's how the Stones handled it as soon as Keith or Mick was out, and I don't really feel Mick's got much integrity either.
The fact is that members of the fanclub are still in the dark in regards to a refund, or actually have to show up at a venue to get their money back kind of shows how little Jon thinks of his own fans.
Salaam Aleikum,
