Actually not trolling. Suck it up. There's so much more to life actually worth complaining about. Its a show. You'll have fun. Phil X is good.

As my wife put it last night, if you bought a loaf of bread, opened it and it was missing 1/4 then you'd go for a refund...... Same thing here I'm afraid!!!

That said, we're still going as it's our bi-annual night out!

Phil X may be good but that doesn't detract from the fact your getting half of an originals band and half of a tribute act.

Whether you want to hear it or not, Panda, when these people are spending as much money as they are, they have the right to complain if a major member pulls out like this.

What annoys me is the people who bitch and bitch that they're gonna sell their tickets and they would rather die before going to the show, etc..... and they still go to the show.

Well, I said on day 1 (the Mohegun show) that this tour didn't look right and lot of people asked how could I say that after just one show. But it was crystal clear: the band except for Jon didn't want to tour so soon, everything looked rushed, including the album (which I really like), and judging from the first setlist of the tour, it was clear that no real surprises (like Something for the Pain and Homebound Train on The Circle Tour) were going to happen. And look at what happened ... IMO it's the worse tour Bon Jovi ever done (both setlist and perfomance-wise).

So, it just happened that I'll be in NY in July with my family, and I just bought two very cheap tickets for the shows there. Here's what I'm going to do: Instead of going to the concert pissed of because Richie is not there, I'll go with very low expectations, waiting to be surprised by Jon Bon Jovi and his friends. Phil X is a great player, who knows ...

But at the same time - say you book a cruise and they change one port of call - you don't get any refund, it's classed as a minor change even if the one they changed is the one you really wanted to go to and booked the entire thing for.

But it's not the same thing as a cruise or a loaf of bread.

I really don't have much emotional feelings about a loaf of bread.

Then go solve the world's problems and stop bitching about what people are complaining about here.

Exactly. I don't give a shit if Richie isn't there. I am still going, come hell or high water.
