Sure Raise Your Hands, I'm only so used to patch Pink Flamingos with Let It Rock (as it should be!)
So if June, the set was rather something like this:

Pink Flamingos + Raise Your Hands
I'd Die For You
Tokyo Road
You Give Love A Bad Name
Wild In The Streets
Twist & Shout (acoustic) + Never Say Goodbye
Livin' On A Prayer
Let It Rock
Guitar & Drums solo + In And Out Of Love
Runaway
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Drift Away
Get Ready
Travellin' Band (with Cinderella)

Still the order might have a bit different after In And Out Of Love. There is a little change you might have got a bit of We Will Rock You in Let It Rock. And with Cinderella, there is a really little change that they did We're An American band instead of the more common Travellin' Band.

Seeing Bon Jovi open with the massive build up of Lay Your Hands On Me was a once in a lifetime experience. I knew it even at that age, as a teenager. The last song was Thin Lizzy´s Boys Are Back In town.
1988-11-28 The setlist:
Lay Your Hands On Me
I'd Die For You
Wild In The Streets
You Give Love A Bad Name
Born To Be My Baby
Homebound Train
Pink Flamingos + Let It Rock
I'll Be There For You
Blood On Blood
Get Ready
Livin' On A Prayer
Ride Cowboy Ride
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Bad Medicine
Walk Away Renee
Runaway
The Boys Are Back In Town

Pretty special one!!Walk Away Renee was very rare at this time. In April 1989 it was a regular but not that early on this tour. The audience must have been really good that they added something after Bad Medicine, not common at all!

The next year, 1989, they came back on the second European leg of the NJ tour and the strains of the marathon tour started to be obvious at that time. The set was shorter and the band seemed a bit world-weary. Jon wasn´t running that much around the stage as he had done a year ago. Not to say it wasn´t a great concert. I sort of enjoyed the athmosphere even more in 1989.
1989-12-13 The setlist:
Lay Your Hands On Me
I'd Die For You
Wild In The Streets
You Give Love A Bad Name
Born To Be My Baby
Pink Flamingos + Let It Rock
Living In Sin
Blood On Blood
Livin' On On A Prayer
Never Say Goodbye (acoustic)
Love For Sale
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Bad Medicine + Gloria

This one was more regular for the time. After quite bad second NA tour from August to October, the band revived themselves in Australia and came to Europe in a form. I think the performances were better in 1989, even if they were more tired. The songs were improved to the perfection then - long Blood On Blood as an example It was also common that they played a sort of acoustic mini set before the long acoustic intro to Wanted.

Yes there is one, unfortunately incomplete. It ends after Runaway, which is incomplete great show with both Living In Sin and I'll Be There For You! That happened for few times during the European tour in 1989. And yeah they played both quite regularly from March to May in North America but the songs had switched spots in the set, as I'll Be There For You was the current single then, topping the charts in early May and Living In Sin was the current single in December 1989

You're welcome! And so do I!! I didn't have the chance to see the band in their prime! I'd take a show from the Jersey Tour over ten current concerts!

Mine was September 1, 1995 at the New York State Fair, yes folks that's right, Jon played a -gulp- State Fair back in the 90's!!! It was not only my first BJ concert but my first concert ever. I remember coming home from school on the last day of 8th grade and there it was in the paper Bon Jovi was coming to Syracuse, NY. I had been completely totally obsessed with the band to the point of carry around the cassette inserts of NJ and KTF with me in my pocket to look at pics and read lyrics for 3 years haha and here they were coming to a city 30 minutes away from my house. I went to the show with my mom, aunt, brother, a friend, and her mom. I remember when I got in there was a roadie on stage tuning a guitar with longish blondish hair and i started freaking out going "omg is that him????" because i thought it was jon!! remember, i was young and had never been to a concert before.

anyway, it was an amazing concert, about 10,000 people and I remember it like it was yesterday! I of course still have my ticket which was 28 dollars for center stage 13th row on the floor which seemed sooooooooooo close to the stage i was dying and i still have the newspaper review of the show. Since it was the These Days tour they had the giant inflatable Chicken and Elvis with the devil horns and while i don't remember the whole set i know they opened up with Keep on Rocking in the Free World and also played (not in correct order) These Days, Hey God, Something For the Pain, Damned, Lie to Me, Keep the Faith, Blaze, LYHOM, Sleep with Papa was a Rolling Stone, Bad Rx, Wanted, Prayer, Bad Name, By With a Little Help from my Friends, This Ain't A Love Song and i'm sure i'm missing some. It was the week before I started 9th grade so I must have been 14. I still have the Tee shirt I bought, it was black and said Bon Jovi in purple letters, like the KTF font, and it had three pics of Jon from the ALways video with the ripped jeans and old fashioned microphone and the tour dates on the back! I remember it all like it was yesterday!!!! The next day, Sept 2, 1995 they were in Cleveland for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame grand opening and I remember thinking as I watched them on TV on HBO that night performing omg i just saw them last night in concert!!! Fun thread! I love to reminisce!!

Albany, NY 12/12/05. JBJ to me from the stage: "You been a good girl this year?" (Reads my sign) "Jon, It's almost Xmas I've been a very good girl! Play Blood on Blood please!" (cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Default First Bon Jovi Concert

It is really hard to post this-- but my first Bon Jovi concert was The Circle Tour in April 2010-- Tampa Florida. I did not discover the band until Fall 2009 when I was stuck home with a broken leg and saw When We Were Beautiful on Showtime. I am trying to make up for missing two decades of great music!
