my highlights;

- Witnessing Let It Rock
- Hearing the stunning version of hallelujah, i'll be there for you (by jon) and lay your hands on me
- seeing the o2 rooftop gig, that was cool!
- seeing songs like something to believe in, it hard letting you go, only lonely, get ready being played again!

any jovi tour im happy to see the band enjoying it, no squabbles or rumours....

bon jovi = you get what you pay for. 1 kick ass rock show!

My Highlights:
1.Santa Fe - London - I love original version but this is also awesome!! When I saw on the setlist that they "now" playing "Santa Fe" I was thinking tha that was joke but finaly we heard it.

2.Pretty WOman - Why it take soo long to play it live. Great song, great to hear it live performed by Bon Jovi.

3.Paint Black / I'Dont Like Monadys - great covers. Both great played live in London

4.Something I'll Be Saturday Night - Mointreal - 2010-03-20
This is BEST version of this song EVER. I'm not big fan of this song but this performance is really amazing. Jon's voice is perfect and he added fantastic lyrics. I love this part after solo and before chorus.

5.These Days - London - 2010-06-26
Honestly I've heard better version in Leipzig in 2008 but I really love start of this song.
This performance have few amazing moments ;D
- Jon starting with livin and stop . Great move
- I love when Jon say "They wanna hear These Days". One man scream "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". Great reaction ;D
- When David start play song man from public scream "Yes, yes, yes". I think that sound someone which dreams come true.
- When they should start play guitar intro Richie wasn't ready and David played his intro again and I love Jon's reaction.
- Another great part someone from public. When Richie start play intro he say "Wooow". Like little kid when his parent give him big ice creams or something like that ;D

I really love this man reaction from this movie. It always makes me happy.
Probably I've don the same when I've heard TDays in Leipzig.

6.Bed Of Roses - London - 2010-06-08
Probably best video of this song that i've ever seen. Part from 4:50 to 5:40 is bloody perfect.

So this is my top six but it sould be top 100 or more. We have heard many great performances on that tour. It's one of they best tour for me.

I completely get what you mean !
It is indeed awesome how they came to do TD and how David plays his intro twice and such.
Very enjoyable video to watch and indeed mostly because of the guy screaming YEAAAAHHH from the top of his lungs !

I salute you,
TS

What can I say….it was me I am glad you like my video and my reaction. And it was exactly like you have written and assumed what it was. It was a dream coming true. And it was not like receiving a big ice cream…it was like receiving the whole ice cream factory to be honest. It was a relief, it was joy, it was happiness, it was magic. It was perfect. I can tell you even more. My reaction that you hear on the video (those WOWs, yeahs, yes yes yes etc) is very very spontaneous, but after watching my own video for about 50 times I still get the same chills and excitement every single time. Every single time, really. That beginning that you have described in points will be there with me in the deepest part of my heart and soul until I die. Absolutely amazing.

Well, here are my personal highlights. I’ll start with the ones I have witnessed personally:

1. THESE DAYS – London, 26/06/2010
What can I say more, I have said everything above and in my review of the last 2 shows at the O2. More than magic. More than anything I have experienced ever before.

2. SANTA FE – London, 25/06/2010
My personal favourite from YGII. I know Jon did not sing it as high as it is on the album, and that he didn’t even try. But I don’t care and I loved it. When he said “it’s called Sante Fe” I just couldn’t believe it. Back then I thought he did not play it in a long long time live but then it turned out it was the first time he has ever played this song live. WOW. That makes me thank God even more that I had a chance to witness that. Brilliant.

3. IT’S HARD LETTING YOU GO – London, 26/06/2010
Right after TD I was still in shock but when he started to play this song afterwards it was just like a non stop dream. And after almost getting a heart attack on TD this song fully relaxed me and it was exactly what I needed at this point.

4. BED OF ROSES – Paris, 16/06/2010
Well, I chose this version because this was my first time hearing this song live. And Jon nailed it in my opinion. This is my favourite BJ ballad and our wedding song. I always wanted to hear it live. I was lucky enough to hear it again in London 10 days later but this first experience is the most memorable for me.

5. BULLET – London, 26/06/2010
I love The Circle to death and my only complain about this tour is that the band do not play enough songs of this great album. I have heard only 5 songs, including this one. This is the only one of my TOP3 of this album. And it was such a huge surprise. But still I hope to hear BPL, Happy Now, TIMS, and LTOR… someday.

6. HOMEBOUND TRAIN – London, 25/06/2010
I love Richie’s voice. Sometimes I wonder which one I love more, Jon’s or his. I think that in this one he can show much more compared to LYHOM. Also on the guitar. And his voice is just born for that kind of songs. Although I still say he should play Ballad of Youth every night

7. HALLELUJAH – London, 25/06/2010
I love this song and I am really happy I was able to hear it live. But live it’s 10 times more special and powerful than on the CD or DVD. It’s just spiritual and catharsis experience. And you can’t compare it to any other BJ song. All you can do in this one is close your eyes and feel it. Nothing more, nothing less.

8. ALL THE OTHER CIRCLE SONGS, Paris & London
WWBTF - WWWB - ST - WFTWM - Like above, for me the more songs from this album on the show the better. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to see many of them but still without those I did the shows would be incomplete, especially without WWBTF and WWWB.

9. KEEP THE FAITH, Paris & London
This song will always be a highlight for me, my all time No 1. So each performance of it is nothing else but magical.

10. BAD MEDICINE with the covers, Paris & London
Actually this song on this tour makes every single show a little bit special. It doesn’t matter what cover song they play, each of them are fantastic. And particularly during this song you can clearly see that the band really enjoys playing live still, after almost 3 decades of playing together and countless numbers of the shows behind them.

11. AUDIENCE – Paris, 16/06/2010
All I can say this was the wildest and definitely the best crowd during this whole tour. I can compare it to the one in O2 which was fine but not even close to this one. And I can compare it the all the other shows but only based on YT but I still feel that you will not be able to find better audience than that one in Paris. They deserved a 4h show if only Jon and the band could manage it physically. They knew all the lyrics, to each and every song, they sang out loud, they screamed, they jumped, they waved their hands, legs and every part of their body. I am glad I could be a part of this audience along with my wife.

12. And last but not least… MEETING OBIE AND PASSING THE LETTER TO JON THROUGH HIM, 25 & 26/06/2010
I know I may be a dreamer, but is still hope Jon read that letter. Just a thank you letter, nothing else. But still it was a very important message that I wanted to tell him. And somehow I am proud I had enough courage to do that

Other highlights of the tour from the shows I haven’t witnessed:

DRY COUNTY (any version performed so far)
This song will always be special on any tour. Those who witness it are really blessed. Maybe someday I will join them

SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN, London
Same as DC

ALWAYS, WMRR show in Philly
I think that Jon nailed it almost as it is on the album. For me the best performance of it on the tour, even though it was not during the official show.

TIMS (any version performed so far)
This double solo at the end with Jon and Richie is a killer, it should have been on the album too, but then it’s also a proof why live performances are so special

LTOR (any version performed so far)
One of my favourites on the TC. I am surprised it was not a staple in Europe, while in US it was. A great great song live.

ONLY LONELY
After watching this on YT, I re-discovered this song. It’s brilliant. I am not a huge fan of the first 2 albums but this one truly deserves some more spotlight in my opinion.

Nice to read about your highlights.
I agree with you on KTF.
It's just such a raw and energetic song that everytime I hear it I know the guys still can rock and everything is good !

I salute you,
TS

I was only in Paris. So highlights from this show are Bed Of Roses and Let It Rock for me. And from the whole tour...it´s a long list...for example:
Love´s the only rule (I hope they will play it in Europe next year)
Santa Fe (hoping for second performance of this song but it´s probably only dram)
Wild Is The Wind (one of my favourite NJ songs)
Happy Now (it works great as an opener, with LTOR best Circle song)
Always
These Days (both of them I must hear live)
...and many more (Only Lonely, Dry County...)

I read this whole thread ...I cannot say what were my highlights because I have tendency to love a show over a song even if it's actually because I love some songs more than usual that I will love a show ...
Among all the posts this one from Kuba is the most talking to me

I loved all the NOT common songs they did on this tour in Europe - in Scheveningen Paris and the 12 London shows - ALL those songs made the tour very special for me and made me not regret the insane amont of money involved (but I'd love to spend less though !!!!) I think in europe with my 14 shows I got the most wonderful setlist ever that tour was a GREAT TOUR for me shorter than usual very different mood (No I don't like the seats ....for one or 2 shows it's ok but for 12 it's not how I love bon jovi live the most)....
I knew I couldn't miss one show in London because I gave away my tickets to a friend for the denmark show IN 2008 and I still have a bitter feeling about missing that one..... so my motto on this tour was *do all the shows in europe* ..I did that and the result was GREAT

I LOVED MY OWN CITY SHOW (Paris) 9 years after their last visit they came back and it was brilliant ..that crowd was so good ...yes many fans came from all over europe but still I was so proud of the french jovi fans who are still fans and show it even if the media not only do nothing for the band but somehow 'hate' them .. so kudos to the frenchies and their european friends for making such a GREAT crowd ...it doesn't happen to me much but that day I was very proud as a french fan ...

I loved the relaxed atmosphere for scheveningen the guys were tired but they showed that they were 'cool' enough to do songs unplanned and on this tour THIS move is a treat as such.....(not sure if many ppl feel like me but I cringe when a setlist is planned from A to Z and I prefer very much when they add stuff (probably even if the added song is not rare ) because it means they 'feel' the audience strong enough to make some change it is a personal touch that can make a show special ...) rocking all over the world and the way they added only lonely made scheveningen perfect to me ..then if you add the beach .. then you have the best way to begin a tour

I loved all the treats we got in london ... TRULY ... *ALL OF THEM* !
when I read that 12 shows song list I am so so SO happy they made that residency special even if the whole system was not a success for them
I loved how Jon (I witnessed it multiple times) read and listened to the fans requests
I didn't like 2 shows from the 12 the first and the one without Dave (because they didnt do any efforts to make it a good show for the poor fans who did just that one ) but I am glad I didn't miss them so I can see the difference between a show with something or without ...

I loved the Bob Geldof song with him as a guest that was a real true surprise for me
I loved all the rareties all those songs I thought they would NEVER play like Santa fe -even if the result was not perfect the gesture to play it was priceless (I hated to be in the pit though I wish I would have seen them do those songs instead of their butt )
I loved that one saturday Night electric we got that one song was so emotional ... I love the sort of rage Jon is in at some point ..it's a gem ... that song electric is a gem when Jon is into it
I loved the last songs added to the last show .. THAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL FEELING as my friend made those banners and I still have it in my 'souvenirs' of a great great moment'I thought it was a lost cause that day .. so when Jon began with These Days I was like holy **** is this going to happen ? I was not expecting for Letting you Go I thought Jon didn't read the banner to the end ...but he is smarter than that Mimi come on ! lol when he began Letting you Go I had tears in my eyes and THIS almost never happen to me , I don't cry over a song almost NEVER but that one got me ....

I am the worst at filming so thank you Kuba and everyone else for filming those songs for us all to enjoy ... I loved to witnessed them live (nothing can beat that) but to have the ability to enjoy them again through YT is priceless

so thank you all !
