Default Your 'magic' moments

Taking inspiration from the Dublin thread, with everyone mentioning their special songs/performances, stick them here instead. The tracks you really want to hear, and the one's you've been lucky enough to witness. they are good to read =)

Aside from Saturday's Hard Rock Calling, mine is probably night two at Milton Keynes in 2006. Yeah, Jon's voice wasn't great at that period of time but it didn't matter to me.
The weather was great, audience in good voice.
Always (TLFR version), Rockin' In The Free World, Bounce, and Everyday were all welcome surprises.
But it was the encore of Blood On Blood/Wanted/These Days/Last Man Standing/Keep The Faith that really did it for me. In my opinion, that emcore is near perfect.
These Days inparticular, its my personal favourite song and i was so surprised to hear it. I heard it at Coventry a few days earlier and was mildly disappointed (Jon had a cold blah blah blah), but this was a vast improvement and felt pretty special.

I'm dying to hear 'Living In Sin' one day, seems to always get a run out on the UK leg, just not the shows im at!

All of my first Jovi gig in 96 but particularly Letting You Go.

Being wasted at the OWN gig in 2001 as it was my birthday and hearing I'll Be There For You shake the stadium.

Jon talking to me at Shephards Bush cause I was bouncing around like a mad man between Crash and Bad Medicine.

Never Say Goodbye at Hyde Park, 2003.

Dry County at Hampden on the LH tour as the rain pelted down. Perfect moment for the first time I heard the song.

Blood Money as an intro, then Blaze Of Glory on the LH tour.

Wild Is The Wind, STBI, and These Days all in the one show at Hampden 2011.

I,d Die For You DONINGTON 87 Saw BJ three times on the SWW tour and they didnt play it once, more than made up for it at Donington.
Wanted at the same show, started with RS playing an acoustic solo with DB adding the atmospheric backing track.
Blood on Blood MK BOWL 89. Friendship speech from JBJ and then that song, GOOSEBUMPS!

Btw both these shows were in August, it was so much better when they werent playing in daylight for almost the entire show.

When the band started "This Ain't a Love Song" in Randers in 2008. Couldn't believe my ears. That was a holy experience!

I don't have any. I haven't seen anything special by this band at one of my concerts.

I've only been to two shows, but my special moment has to be the beginning of the show last March. I wanted to hear Blood on Blood so bad, and was fairly certain I would get it. When I heard Richie come in with the opening riff, I was beyond ecstatic.

I have had many goosebump moments over the years. It's magic when that happens. When I heard the first chords of Dry County being played at Giants night 2 in 2006 was a recent one for me. It had been 10 years since that song had been played live here. I stood and listened, mesmerized all over again in row 2 right in front of Jon. I swear he sang that song to me.

And These Days on the last Giants night on the same 2006 tour - I never expected to hear These Days at Giants (the Europeans get to hear it but it is practically never played here). AND Wild is the Wind on top of it all and the only performance of I am. What a night.

I could mention Alec coming out to play on Wanted at Giants 2001 - another goosebump moment. I'll Be There For You at the first Crush concert at the Meadowlands after a looong break in the late 90's. As a matter of fact that entire Crush concert in Nov of 2000 was a goosebump moment - I never expected to see this band again.

Hearing Blood Money for the first time in forever in Philly 2008 - it hadn't been played in so long. I knew what it was when Jon was noodling around before he even came to the mike.

The recent concert at MSG which was one of the best shows I've seen - and a far better These Days than was sung in 2006.

I could go on but - that's why I am still a fan and why I am traveling so far this summer to see this band.

Top 5, in chronological order:
-8/7/03: Hearing Someday I'll Be Satruday Night at my first Jovi show/first concert ever, and being amazed the feeling of seeing a band do a song that means the world to me live. Started my concert obsession.

-10/28/07: Livin' In Sin, Right Side Of Wrong, Lay Your Hands On Me. My fourth Jovi show, and first time I ever got real rarities. LIS and LYHOMwere major treats for me as a major NJ fan, especially as both were uber-rare at the time. Neither beats RSOW though, as it's my absolute favorite song off Bounce, and I thought I had no shot of hearing it after the Bounce Tour.

-7/12/08: I wasn't expecting anything great setlist-wise out of the free CP show, but I ended up getting 2 songs I'd never heard before. Blaze was a nice treat in the main set, but the real highlight was Always to kick of the encore. I was actually whispering to myself during the encore break "Please play it Tico, Please play it Tico", and nearly lost my mind when the drums started.

-7/14/08: Dry County at MSG Night One. I had been texting with a couple of people from the board, and they kept telling me to expect a major surprise (a photo of the setlist had leaked) but I never expected it to be DC. Until this year, it was the absolute highlight of my Bon Jovi fandom.

-2/25/11: This year's MSG Night 2 was shaping up to be a bit of a disappointment. Yes, the show had been good, and the encore had started with my fourth Dry County, but it was still lacking something. Then after Prayer, Jon sent the guys back to their spots for a second encore. Always was nice, but it was the next song that easily tops everything else in my Bon Jovi fandom. Earlier that night I had thrown together a makeshift banner that said "I've Waited 17 Shows For These Days" and held it up during WGIGO (had pretty close behind the stage seats). Jon definitely did see it, whether it had any bearing on what happened next I don't know, but after Always the band started These Days, and I finally got to hear my absolute favorite song. I was shaking the whole time, barely believing what I was hearing. Amazing moment. In These Arms and Just Older to end the night were nice as well, but TBH I barely remember them in the post-TD euphoria.
