Last year was the only year I watched it right through because I thought Diana Vickers was an absolute star; there was something unique about her. The rest is meh, and when that Alexandra won it was like jeez, she's just another Leona, except Leona's probably better.

I honestly think they know who is going to be in the finals from the start.
Take the last guy for instance it all seemed a bit set up to me and good singer that he was I think hes going to be more annoying as he goes along.

The one that had to do 2 songs?

I think that was set up too.

Oh god that Eoghan Quigg gets on my nerves so much

He just came across as a useless pretty boy with no substance. Simons Cowells little puppet for all the mid-teen girls who listen to 'tween' pop rock.

God I hate that show...I don't get why everyone thinks that Cheryl Cole is amazing, or how she is qualified to judge on the show (OK, she went through the same audition/live show process that the contestants do, but I'm not sure how that means she is qualified to assess what will sell in today's music climate, which is the ultimate aim of the show. Ditto Dannii) and all the people on last year's show that everybody seemed to love (Diana Vickers and that Spanish woman) just sounded to me like they couldn't sing.

Having said that, I was at a friend's house lats night and ended up watching up and I think I preferred the way the auditions were carried out this year- it was just something a bit different, and I appreciated the fact that there seemed to be less of the 'sob stories' than in previous years. So who knows, I may end up watching it yet. I just generally hate what this kind of show stands for- that to be a successful singer, all you have to do is go on a reality TV show and cry for a few minutes.

The 18 year old?

'Cause man, she was gorgeous. The unprintable things I'd do to that girl!

Aloha !

Did anyone mention the boner accident yet or have I overlooked it? Because that was pure class.

Is that the guy that went on stage with a boner? Don't think it's been mentioned. Didn't see it on tv either, just in a paper.
