I've never really seen what is so bad about this album. Sure, it's not as good as WTSMG and it was never going to be.

There are a couple of crappy tracks, there's a couple of mediocre songs and then there are quite a few absolute classics.

D'ya Know What I Mean?, Stand By Me, Don't Go Away and All Round The World are all fantastic. I'd probably put this album on a par with Don't Believe The Truth, that one is probably more consistent, but it certainly dosen't have songs on the level of those I mentioned above.

For me, it is one of their weakest albums to date. Im really not a fan of it. Never have been since its release. The only tracks I actually enjoy from it are Girl in a dirty shirt and Dya know what I mean. However, when we seen Oasis last month, it was still pretty dissappointing that they played six or seven tracks from their new album, when they could of easily taken one or two out and played some songs from Be Here Now or Standing On The Sholders Of Giants.

True, but out of all those songs they played of the new album, there's only one that isn't as good as the older material, and that's Mucky Fingers in my opinion. The rest is equally is good, I really love the songs live. And when going on tour to promote a new album and having stuff that's just as good, they'd rather play the new songs instead.

Yeah, I can understand why the band would wanna play some of their new songs live. Thats only natural to want promote their new album. Thats what the tour is all about. I, like yourself Seb, like the new songs live, but suely six or seven per gig is a bit too much? I dont think I would be too impressed if BJ did that on their next tour. I think roughly four songs from the new album should suffice, The strong four tracks should be played to promote the album. The general fan, always wants to hear the big hits. I got that feeling coming out of the show in Manchester, that some fans kinda fealt disappointed that they didnt play some of their other big hits such as Roll With it, Go let it out and The Hindu Times.

Bon Jovi did play 7 songs from their new album in the beginning of the Bounce tour. However, they play a few more songs each night as well.

During the Heathen Chemistry Tour, Oasis played 7 songs of their new album as well. And Noel had been saying in a few interviews that a lot of big hits would not be played again, just because they've played them way too many times. He hates Roll With It nowadays.

But you are right, a lot of fans miss the classics. But in my opinion the setlist works. Instead of playing hits you get some tracks that have never been a single like Bring It On Down and Morning Glory. The thing is, the first 2 albums have had so much commercial success, that people see those songs as hits. Just like Raise Your Hands is for Bon Jovi. But if Bon Jovi would play more older songs that have never been a single, you won't hear me complain.

Yeah, they did play quite a lot of songs on the Heathen Chemistry tour. I was quite surprised back then too, if I remember correctly. I think perhaps, I didnt mind so much because I liked the album better. Dont get me wrong, I really like Dont Believe The Truth, but the songs havent been perceievd as well as the HC tracks did, when I first heard them.

I knew Neol didnt like playing Roll With It, anymore. I speaking in terms of I know a lot of people who would still love to hear it live again, if the band like playing it or not :P The band should give what the fans want, although Liam doesnt really give a sh*t. He just goes out, plays his stuff, and leaves.

I loved hearing Bring It On Down and Morning Glory this tour. They seemed to have somewhat of a new lease of life in them, which was really interesting. Morning Glory especially did it for me this time around. I couldnt stop listening to it a few days later, and realised just how much this song rocks. It also led me to listen to the entire Whats The Story Morning Glory album, which I havent doen for years.

Its great that Bon Jovi still play Raise Your Hands. It was always a fan favourote even though it wasnt released as a single. It was of course a bside to Livin' On A Prayer, as you already know. I'd like BJ to bring back some old classics next tour as well, but my gut feeling is that we will have the same old 'classics' as what weve had for the last three tours. I still dont understand why Jon thinks I Got The Girl is a fan favourite, when it clearly isnt. Just older worked though. I love to hear that live Id actually, really like to hear Living In Sin, but I guess that one will remain a dream

Yeah its true that any songs from Whats the strory and Def may arnt considered "rare" because everyone knows them so well now. People forget that Champ Supanova was never released as a single. Im all for them bringing back these kind of songs but look at the songs they missed off this tour

All except Supersonic made number 1 or 2 in the UK, I think thats too many hits to be leaving off a tour. I was disappointed to see for 3 nights at Manc they played virtually the same set, with the songs they have it shouldnt happen. One of the reasons id never go see Oasis more than once on a tour.

Same here Carli. It was the same on the HC tour as well. Same old setlist everynight. If they want fans to go to more than one show per tour, theyre gonna have to start changing around their setlist. With a back catalogue as strong as Oasis', then you'd think that they would at least try one 'rare' song per night...

Noel doesn't want to do different setlists each night because he thinks that no town is more special. Which is a silly excuse for just being lazy. You could give each town one or 2 rare songs.

But again, in my opinion the setlist is better constructed than you're all saying.

Indeed, they could mix it up a bit, but if a Bon Jovi show would have a setlist like that you wouldn't hear me complain.
