Sad. just sad. 1987 is nothing special from the snake, it's sort of closer to mainstream than their previous ones. U should deff pay more attention to earlier albums....
But thatīs only your opinion. I donīt think thereīs nothing sad. People like different things. Some say Crush is Bon Joviīs best album, some say itīs Slippery. Same thing with Whitesnake. Some considers early stuff better than their latest work and vice versa.
Agreed.
But, I still think everyone should take a closer look to artist's roots. Meaning any artist. What comes to snake, in the beginning there was lots of blues.....1987 was more like their cheesiest work To go little further, everyone should deff listen to Deep Purple's "Burn" & "Stormbringer"...Coverdale was simply awesome on those albums.
Agreed, but to me music released in the 60īs and 70īs sounds dated so I rather not listen to it at all. But if I had listened to Whitesnake in the 70īs and early 80īs and then heard 1987 I might think about it just like you did.
