It's some of the most disgustingly watered down production i've ever heard. I think jamelia was on the radio this mornign saying it sounds really now and happening which says alot about British production compared to the Yanks.

.
Yeah I agree it just sounds rushed and lacks all the passion of the original

Bono wants to end world peace?

But seriously, at least he's doing _something_ to help the people. Why should he suffer for being succesful? Jim, if you're complaining about them doing nothing, when was the last time you gave money for charity?

I'm just pointing out how hypocritical it is. Over the past few weeks I've probably whacked about a tenner into the Poppy appeal which isn't much but alot more than most people that stick in 50p and that's it.

I'm not the one out rim jobbing the Pope and trying to play jesus while at the same time putting money into organisations that get filtered through to the IRA and hiring jets to fly hats around the world.

Yeah it's amazing what one song can do to somebody's ego. I suppose there are a couple more decent songs on Permission to Land but it's not a great album like Hawkins makes it out to be when he does interviews. I don't dislike the Darkness' music but they have nothing, and probably will never have anything on U2. U2 are arguably the biggest band in the world over the last 20 or so years.

But it doesn't matter how hypocritical it is. The child in Africa doesn't care if the food came from a hypocritical rock star or a genuinely interested nature-buff, he's just happy to have the food.

The absolute biggest hypocracy has to be from Sir Bob himself.
You do realize that the £500 per meal actually pays somebody's salary. It might seem excessive to you, but all this money actually puts food on somebody elses table.

Same with the jet thing - and caterers. People spend tons of money on what you might deem to be silly and unnecessary things, but they provide jobs for others. Not so silly if you think about it....

Not sure what a poppy appeal is, but to me it always counts more if somebody gets up their arse and does something than to spend a bit of change....

and if you knew the type of person Bono was then youd realise that thats all utter bullsh!t Jim.

Bono, yes may think he is the messiah, but hes in the position to help and so he does it. he can influence millions of people, and he is using this for the greater good.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Nar Justin's great! Someone in the business who has the balls to say what he feels, its moving away from fakes in the industry who read of scripts their whole career. I love the attitude of the Darkness.. reminicant of early Oasis.. Hawkins will mature... but for now enjoy!

I read earlier someone said his voice is crap... worst comment ever! lol.. great voice... great voice live also. ROCK on... thats right ROCK.
