Default Goo Goo Dolls - New Single on Homepage

If you check out googoodolls.com, there's a 30 second snippet of their new single "Stay With You" off there album "Let Love In", out April 25.

From what I hear, it sounds great. I'm almost as psyched for this album as I was for HAND. "Better Days" is a great tune, and the Goos never disappoint me. Only thing I'm a bit peeved about is "Give A Little Bit" being included as one of the 11 songs on the disc. That means we only get 10 new songs. That song has been out for almost 2 years now. Putting it on a new album, especially when it was released previously on their live CD, really makes no sense to me. It would have been like Bon Jovi including "Always" on "These Days".

DOH! Sorry about that. Never even noticed it.

Well, in any event, is anyone else a bit disappointed with the decision to include "Give A Little Bit" on this disc?

Absolutely. Though I love the song, it's been released before. I'm also happy that Robbie will only be on lead vox on two songs. I prefer hearing Johnny!

I like the song so I don't mind it. At least now I know I like 3 songs off the album!

My friend and I have already started to plan our tour time. Dates haven't even been announced yet! LOL! We had our GGD weekend on the Gutterflower tour and had a blast. We're all ready for this one!

Really? Cool - Hadn't heard that yet. OK, so there's 11 songs, 9 of which Johnny is on lead vocals. We've heard 3, so we've got 6 more to look forward to. Eh, I can deal with that.

The great thing about the Goos is, you can almost GUARENTEE great tunes when Johnny is on lead vocals.
