Duffy’s hit ‘Mercy’ might have reached number 1 in 15 countries around the world and hit the top 10 in another 17, but she’s revealed that it was only when Bon Jovi covered it during their recent tour that she realised she was famous.

She told Spin magazine recently: “It’s a strange feeling when a person at that level is playing a song I wrote.

“It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m really here now. [Jon] Bon Jovi knows that I exist.’

“A girl from Wales - that’s all I am, really.”

Yeah, must be great for her. She's different to the music that is made these days and that's good becuase there is some rubbish that gets made lol

i can definatly recomend her cd one of the better modern CD's ive heard, she does have a great voice, delayed devotion is my favourite i think

I can't quite like her, just nothing special in the songs for me. Good luck to her though, at least she isn't going about the place a la Amy Winehouse.
