The Stones have been around for 45 years - there is no contest.

Both are cool, but The Stones kick there ass!!!!!

The Rolling Stones are the greatest band in music history.
They have been around for nearly 45 years as someone said and they've made so many amazing albums with only 1 or 2 bad ones (Dirty Work is the only bad album that comes to mind, and that would have been better if Mick & Keith has been on speaking terms at the time!)

... And so many more... I could go on... It was an unfair poll really... few bands come anywhere near The Stones.... AC/DC are not in the same league... only bands I can think of that you could compare them to are The Beatles and The Kinks and maybe Led Zeppein... no one else is good enough..

I'm a big fan of both AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. I've seen both bands live as well and although I thought that The Stones put on a better show, I prefer AC/DC's music, and attitude toward their music.
