Joe was writing about the boys from Blink before they would walk.

"'N' every gimmick hungry yob digging gold from rock 'n' roll
Grabs the mike to tell us he'll die before he's sold"

Now if you dont mind this thread was about a talented group of brothers, not Busted, Marketing Central 182 and Joe.

Neither Busted or Blink were nowhere near of being a punk band. You need check your defenition of "punk". Sex Pistols were punk, Blink isn't.

Good ole Blink did sell out... It's too bad they did. Their old stuff was ****ing great. Blink was a punk band... Now they are commercially dead.

Exactly. That is what I meant. I donīt think Iīve ever heard more than one Sex Pistols song but I donīt mind. I have no desire to.

Anyway, back on topic. I really like Hanson's CD, especially Deeper and Strong Enough To Break. It's still not as good as mmmbop though

Im quite worried that no-one has mentioned their first album Middle Of Nowhere yet, but I'll be the first.

I baught it back in late 1997 and remeber listening to it quite a bit, but probably havent put it on since anytime that year. Maybe because i was only about 11 and they kinda got less popular in 1998 and hense (for me and my friends anyway) a stigma for liking Hanson grew and since then to this day I've always been scared to admit I had and still have their first album.

My fave tracks were MMMBop, Where's The Love and Thinking of You, but cause it's been so long, I barely remember the rest of the album!

I had Middle Of Nowhere, but I think my sister broke it Can't really remember anything about it, other than one of them looked really cute on the cover and I liked mmbop :P

please stop this tom foolery.

blink are not, never have been and i seriously doubt they ever will be a punk band.

and how exactly can they "sell out" **** i hate those 2 words) from a tune that pretty much made them overnight. there's not much else you can do commercially from then on in.
