I saw the program was on, but scaring backstage with Tom seemed like a more fun way to spend the evening

I only realised it was on midway though, and taped the last halfhour, but I have a feeling it's been taped over (not by me!)

incidently, anybody see the Deep Purple one that was on the other night? I didn't, have it on tape, but talking of close links to Spinal Tap....

That would actually be a fantastic idea for a second Spinal Tap film. They do like a 'the making of smell the glove'. Doing a how they were inspired to write songs like "sex farm woman", and showing lodes of on tour footage. I'm guessing they'd never do another, but it would be one way they could make it work!

Yeah I heard that they released 5 singles of Hysteria and they all did really well, maybe all number ones, but I doubt it. I too think it's a great album, and I only own Vault. The 5 singles from it though virtually make it a great album.

Hysteria is an incredible album. BUY IT!!! It's worth every penny. If I recall correctly though, Hysteria was released after SWW. I think the next year. That was a long time ago though, so I don't remember exact dates. I just remember that I was in middle school when SWW came out and in High School already for Hysteria. Goodness, that was ages ago.....

P.S. If you really like Def Leppard, I highly recommend Pyromania too. Just as good as Hysteria in my opinion.

Uhm..you just told them to buy everything except for the masterpiece.

Actually...if you don't like albums that are soulful with alot of depth..don't buy Slang. If you want to take a journey that will warrant many listens and analysis....got go the store now.

Slippery When Wet was released in the Fall of 1986. Hysteria was released in September of 1987.
