Default KISS Symphony: Alive IV

KISS Symphony: Alive IV
Released July 22, 2003. KISS Symphony: Alive IV, captures one of the world’s greatest performing rock bands with the prestigious 60-piece Melbourne Symphony Orchestra live before a sold-out crowd from Australia’s Telstra Dome while on the 2003 tour. The energy packed two-disc set promises to captivate and tantalize fans new and old alike with twenty-two newly recorded live tracks featuring ten classic KISS tracks backed by the 60-piece Melbourne Symphony, six never-performed-live acoustic versions of KISS classics and six raw classic KISS tracks sans orchestra. This spectacular concert event proved to be a memorable show highlighted by the Melbourne Symphony appearing in full KISS makeup and will be released as a DVD, in the future.

CD1
01 - Deuce
02 - Strutter
03 - Let Me Go Rock & Roll
04 - Lick It Up
05 - Calling Dr. Love
06 - Psycho Circus
07 - Beth
08 - Forever
09 - Goin´ Blind
10 - Sure Know Something
11 - Shandi

CD2
01 - Detroit Rock City
02 - King Of The Night Time World
03 - Do You Love Me?
04 - Shout It Out Loud
05 - God Of Thunder
06 - Love Gun
07 - Black Diamond
08 - Great Expectations
09 - I Was Made For Lovin´ You
10 - Rock And Roll All Nite

Got the album today and it is pretty good. I just wished that they would´ve included more stuff from the 80´s since I grew up listening to it but no. Instead they chose to play almost entire Destroyer album.
First 6 songs on CD1 are basically like from any KISS show, no orchestra. Then there´s couple of acoustic versions with the orchestra, and they were nice, especially Forever. They can´t screw that song up. Shandi was good one too.
CD2 is again played electrically with the orchestra and it was excellent. They used loads of fireworks, it would be fun to see this show as well. DRC, God Of Thunder, Love Gun, Black Diamond rocked big time. Great versions.
