Aloha !

Who cares what JKKDARK says anyway? As far as I'm concerned she and Born_to_run should get married. They seem to agree about the same things and have an obsession with spandex and making silly remarks about Bon Jovi.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I've never liked them. Some of their music is OK, but that's about it.
And I've seen a few of their live DVD's (from their "golden period") and they SUCK IMO.
All Sizzle, no steak if you will.

I want to see KISS live, at least once, no matter how cheesy they are, they wrote some classic tunes.

I also want to see Whitesnake!

Eat your words - NOW!
Kiss doesn't still rock.
Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and two ringers play 35 year old songs to make money.

And Bon Jovi makes country albums to make money.

I saw KISS live twice in Helsinki and while they weren't the best shows I've seen, they were still better than most of the other bands out there. KISS still puts on a show and even if you don't like their music, you can still enjoy the show. And you need to experience a KISS show on the floor level, the seats are not good enough. I know, I tried. The whole atmosphere is so much better among the GA-crowd and the stage looks so much better.

And say what you will, but Paul Stanley wipes the floor with the Jon in Helsinki, both vocal- and entertainer-wise.

Apart from the killer God Gave Rock & Roll To You, Kiss have never really done anything for me. I have the 1997 Greatest Hits which I think I only played a few times. After hearing your verdict on their performance, I can live without seeing them headline at Download.
