has anybody listened to the whole album yet? Iv downloaded a few tracks (what about love, monster is loose, if god could talk, all coming back) and they are all immense!!! I dont want to download the whole album because that will spoil the excitement of its release!! Bat 3 is going to be hugh! On listening to these 4 tracks it sounds as if it could be the best Meat album since Bat 1!!

Listening Blind As A Bat as we speak, the second track I hear of this album... I'm still undecided wheather I will listen the complete album before I'll buy it in the store - I got the complete album on mp3 now though. Very tempted to listen it all...

This is probably one of my most anticipated albums in years - don't feel like spoiling it with a couple of mp3's... but can't wait either . Ah! Tough decision!

Ahhh I have to stop!

Playing Bad For Good now - the very first notes you instantly recognize Brian May. Amazing.

Now I really have to hit the pauze-button!

It's a special year for any Meat fan .

I REALLY can't wait for this album to come out. I've heard a few of the songs and they sound awesome but I don't want to hear the rest of them until I have the CD.

And I'm going to see him on November 12th!

Is that the Bat on Broadway triple-act show, with each act featuring songs of another Bat album? If so - I'm very jealous. Hell - either way, I'm very jealous ! It's been years since Meat Loaf last visited this country and somehow I always missed out on his concerts...

No. I would love to go to that one but it's just too expensive for me. Most of the tickets are about $235 and even the "cheap" ones are $160.

I guess mine is just a regular show, but I managed to get some great seats... and they were only $40.

I have this album awhile i aquired a promo version of it well impressed with it i have to say....read a article in classic rock with Meat and he said steinman wanted to work on it but Meat said he wanted to have a good year to put it together and meat wanted to do it now so he got Desmond child in instead...I think as a whole its a good album but it just lacks something and i think its steinman TBH...he has some great players on it ie. nikki sixx, steve vai, brian may and john 5 etc....great album but i dont think good enough to stand up to the legacy of bat out of hell

I had been waiting to hear Meat take on Bad For Good ever since I found Jim Steinman's BFG solo album.

And in short - a disspaointment. Meat isn't so big that all the massive fun of Bad For Good is obsucred.but..... his diction is clear! There's none of the desparation to be found in the first Bat album And worse still... Just as things are getting fun towards the song's climax, a massive massive theme of "God Speed Us Away" is COMPLETLEY missing.

It just bugs me that Meat is making at least some of the old songs smaller rather than letting them reach their full potential.

Or maybe Bat Out Of Hell really is just an antouchable LP.
