Perhaps this is what BJ need to go back to. Cheesy, good fun arena rock. The deep stuff is splitting opinion on here severely.

He has a point. But only his last word.

The kid is in danger of talking my crown of the most hated person on Jovitalk. Better start getting twatty again.

I was about to say the same.....

Nickleback was never a fav of mine, just something about Chads voice that I dislike, can't put my finger on what it is really. The songs can be quite good, but they don't make my heart beat any faster.

To me "This Means War", "Lullaby", and Everything I Wanna Do" rocks my boots!

Deep? There's only about a dozen of Bon Jovi songs that are truly deep and I'm pretty sure they have always had the cheesy cringe worthy songs. No, Bon Jovi do not need to be more like Nickelback.

Yes, they should most certainly make an album full of Bad Names, It's My Lifes, and Everydays instead of something more rounded like The Circle (no pun intended).

Says the Oasis fan. Honestly, what planet do you live on?

You're ignorant statement could easily apply to so many bands which have their own sound or niche and stick to what they are good/successful at .. ACDC etc. anyone? Who says you have to keep pushing the envelope and trying new sounds? Only the critics usually. Rule number 1 of marketing your b(r)and, find your sound and if it aint broke don't fix it.

I for one always find myself really liking a handful of songs off each Nickelback album.. the records don't usually have the long play factor though for me which makes me want to keep coming back to, but they are almost studio perfect live, have some excellent tunes and, contrary to popular belief, have written many 'deeper' songs. ''If today was your last day' being one of my personal favourites, and anyone who disagrees with the lyrics to that song is either a miserable old cynical bastard or plain stupid, fact!

But god, do i hate alot of their fun drinking 'lets have sex' party songs, but hey, why are Motley Crue, Def Leppard et al allowed to get away with it?

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
