lol, this must be about the tength robbie williams thread on this furum...

i have been a fan pretty much from the start despite me hating Tak that...

Well heres my take on this guy . First let me say Im from the states and well Robbie isnt popular here . Now Im open to varied kinds of music . I like pretty much everything except Opera . But maybe its because Im from the states , I just cant see whats so great about this guy . Ive heard many songs from him .. and really cant see what makes him so popular . Im not old (im 25) , but he holds no appeal vocally nor talent wise , yet folks in the uk absoultly go wild for him .
I must be missing something . Like I said its my opinion , and to my knowledge his records tanked in the us pretty much .

I dont really think Americans like/get his humour. They think hes arrogant, most of the time hes being ironic, I dont think he'll ever take off over there which is a shame.

he wont ever take off over there? ok the Escapology cover...that is 'taking off' enough for me
