Yes Ill agree Sgt Pepper A good choice to start . Songs like "A day In The Life" Or "Lovely Rita " are classics . Beatles 65 Meet The Beatles , With The Beatles are more Pop inclinced with older songs from other artists mixed in (Boys sung by Ringo bein a highlight) . Rubber Soul like Kathleen said was when there music evolved and grew a bit more and they started to experiment with more mature lyrics , tape overdubbing , loops etc .
I really love Revolver myslef . I like "Taxman " , "And Your Bird Can Sing" and George on the sitar on various cuts . "The White Album" as its called has one of the greatest classic songs Golden Slumbers Medley /Carry That Weight "
I do tend to go on about music sorry lol Put me in a room with people who love to talk music and I can go on and on for hours . I just love it!

id go with the white album.. simply a classic.. beatles biggest selling record, it went diamond.

To go diamond is not an average thing.. its beyond brilliant.. obviously SWW was.. the beatles had 3 diamond records which proves why they are arguably the best rock band ever. A diamond record is when a band reaches a certain amount of multi-platinum sales.. the white album reached level 18.0 of multi-platinum sales... the highest of all beatles diamond records.

The sold that many copies of the white album without touring or promoting the album well... not to bad @ all.

They clearly are the best band ever, bon jovi coming close in second for me.
