despite the obvious flaw given that kinks > stones > beatles.

favourite tune = we can work it out

members = john > george > ringo > paul

album = 1

i get the beatles and they do cover a shitload of ground that the stones and kinks didn't go near but i still prefer those two.

Beatles always work for me, always have, always will. Their music was simple, diverse & universal.

Favourite song = While my guitar gently weeps

Members = Paul > George > John > Ringo

Favourite Album = White album

It;s funny, cause I just had a long Beatles conversation with my dad the other day. He's in love with them and of that generation, so I've heard all their music for my entire life. I pretty much love it all, from the early stuff all the way to the end. As for favorite Beatle, that was actually the crux of the conversation, as we were listening to the copy of Wings' Band on The Run that my parents got me for my birthday. We both agreed that Macca has to win out. I am a fan of Lennon, but honestly I think Paul is the best writer of pop/rock songs that's ever lived.

I've only just realised that the band name is a pun. I always thought they spelled it like that because it looked cool.

Beat(as in beat of a song)les

That must be the slowest I've ever been about anything in my life.

First band I ever listened to. By the time I was 10 years old, I owned all their albums.

In My Life:
One of the most beautiful pop songs I´ve ever heard.

Girl:
Such a great and sad love song.

Taxman:
It´s got one of the best riffs in rock music, if you ask me.

Come Together:
Lennon at his best.

Please Mr. Postman:
I know it´s only a cover song but I´ve always loved its multilayered vocals.

All I´ve Got To Do:
Simple and not very famous but I love it anyway.

I Should Have Known Better:
One of the best Beatles songs for me.

I´ll Be Back:
I love its vocal harmonies.

If you ask me, Lennon was the voice of the century.

Greatest band to ever walk the face of our planet.
Paul will always be my favourite,preferred his vocals to John's nasally tones.As for their best song,well i always thought She's Leaving Home was incredible,wonderful lyrics and the harmonies are just perfect.

Anyone heard the snippets of Revolver from the new remasters? They're supposed to be up on Amazon - I couldn't find em there so I don't have a link but I downloaded 'em off another site... and they sound ****ing amazing.

Anyone see Macca's set from Halifax the other night. Christ, it's amazing;

Drive My Car
Jet
Only Mama Knows
Flaming Pie
Got To Get You Into My Llife
Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady
Highway
All My Loving
Long And Winding Road
My Love
Blackbird
Here Today
Dance Tonight
Calico Skies
Mrs Vanderbilt
Eleanor Rigby
Sing The Changes
Band On The Run
Back In The USSR
Something
I've Got A Feeling
Paperback Writer
A Day In The Life/ Give Peace A Chance
Let It Be
Live And Let Die
Hey Jude

Encore

Day Tripper
Lady Madonna
Mull of Kintyre (feat. 78th Highlanders Pipe Band from Halifax)
I Saw Her Standing There

Encore 2

Yesterday
Helter Skelter
Get Back
Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band / The End

With a few exceptions (day tripper, mull of kintyre, helter skelter, all my loving) that is a standard set for Paul, but its still ****ing brilliant
