Greatest hits 1 & 2 would be an ideal place to start.

Day At The Races and Night At The Opera are both good too but they were definitely a great singles band, some of the album tracks are a bit ropey.

Oh, the last album, Made In Heaven is great though.

Go with Greatest Hits to start with Jana but Day at the Races was one of my personal favorites.

You can buy the 3 greatest hits albums in one boxset, and it's probably cheaper than buying them all seperately...plus they come in a nice package.

I only have that and A Night At The Opera, but that is good too.

Innuendo would be my first choice

and then A Day At The Races, Made In Heaven and The Miracle in no particular order really

Or actually - if it's your first Queen cd, you might want to follow the advice of some of the others and get the Platinum Greatest Hits collection although quite some great songs are left out on those...
