It is. Which are your fave live Queen songs??? I love the piano intros to Bo Rap and Champions
This DVD is the only live Queen I've heard, except a few songs from Milton Keynes show that VH1 show, but I think that Who Wants To Live Forever is really powerful live, and Brighton Rock Solo is just way cool. There are the obvious classics like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions too....and I like how Freddie comes out in the cape and crown at the end of the show.

It's been a while since I watched it all actually, I usually just watch a couple of tracks, or more often just listen to it on my PC.

There is some good backstage stuff on the bonus disc too, with some recent interviews with Brian and Roger.

Yeh I love the whole bit on the history of Wembley and the twin towers. It was by far my favorite stadium , waslucky enough to see Oasis there but I dont think they did it justice. Would have loved to have seen Queen or Bon Jovi there, hopefully I might still get to see BJ once the new stadium has been built.

I really like "A Kind Of Magic" and "Radio Ga Ga" live. They are more rockier than the studio originals and they sound great live. Also, "Love Of My Life" is a super duet between FM and the audience.

There are many more great songs live- especially from the 1978 Jazz Tour (my favourite).

By the way, the Live At Wembley Stadium DVD is a fantastic release- it was about time Queen Productions released an uncut concert, and they went beyond that by adding the fantastic bonus features.

LOML during the Magic Tour in Budapest is amazing. The best concert of Queen is most definitely Hyde Park 76 and in particular 39. Great rendidtion of this song.

Live Aid was amazing, to see Freddie on that stage and like Bob Geldof once said, it was the perfect gig for him, he played to the world!

Another song I've always loved live is Another One Bites the dust, sheer brilliance! And of course One vision!!

About Hot Space: Queen lost a great lot of their fanbase with that album, especially in the States. I love it! I think the great thing about Queen was that they were never afraid to experiment. It isn't their greatest album, but it still has some great songs on it. And it was Disco fever at the time!! Thankfully with The Works they went back to their roots a bit...

Freddie was a great frontman, the best. On the anniversary of his death I will, like always raise a toast and light a candle. Gone but not forgotten...

I think the band were surprised at that- the US liked "The Game" album a lot- especially "Another One Bites The Dust"- so an album in the "Funk" category seemed to be a commercial success for Queen in America. Obviously this didn't happen, and they were only able to achieve success in the States again once Wayne's World came out in 1992.

Luckily "The Works" saw a return to the rockier roots of Queen (Tear It Up, Hammer To Fall- nice signature Tash!!- etc) and is a very good album.

The Game wasn't really a diversion for Queen though, they were still true to their roots, even though they finally caved and added a synthesizers in to the album, but it still had the edge that they were known for, just listen to Dragon Attack, Rock it and Coming soon. Hot Space was completely away from their usual stuff and I think it was too campy for the US, they knew Freddie was bi but this was just blatant!! Wrong time kind of thing!!

The Works remains one of my favourite Queen albums.. especially Hammer to Fall - Thanks for the compliment!!
