The first ones my favourite. In fact, I'm not even sure if I've ever seen the 3rd one.

They are all great movies, although it always annoyed me that Jennifer was different in the third movie

In Part 1 Jennifer was played by Claudia Wells, and in Parts 2 and 3 (which where filmed at the same time) she was played by Elisabeth Shue.

I didn't think Elisabeth Shue was a good choice. I prefered the first Jennifer. Any reason why she didn't do the other ones?

Well I guess that with part 2 and 3 Jennifer had a more prominent role, and Claudia Wells musn't have been able to commit enough time to the project.
