Went to see this movie last night and thought it was excellent.
I love Johnny Depp in this movie. Jack Sparrow is such a brilliant character The best bit is I dont have to wait another few years for the sequel  Just another few months!

all 5 of my kids went and saw it on opening night and all 5 of them said they didnt care for it. Johnny was funny but the movie was long and drawn out according to them. They said the best part of the whole movie was when Orlando Bloom got whipped by his dead father. According to the 16 yr old the whole movie was a giant preamble to next summers movie. If you haven't seen the first movie it wont matter as they explain everything that happened in the first movie. They said the effects were alright but a little gross at some points. They prefer the 1st movie. BTW 3 of the kids are teens
