Default Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Anyone else see this? I saw it tonight. Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp... well..

There was this one action scene at the end where they switched between the CG material and the real acting material very quickly - i loved it! Johnny Depp's character is a little mentally unstable. Depp works with it very well, and adds light comedy to the flim. I found myself laughing throughout the flim, it was light humor though - and I didn't realize that I would be laughing at a movie about pirates. It's not an overall great flim that will be down in the record books or anything, but it's a good movie to watch on a Saturday night when you're home alone, or are in need of something to do!

I'm going to go see it this weekend....for the main reason of my dahling Johnny Depp!!

It was Johnny's idea to have Captain Jack Sparrow as half baked I can't wait to see it! I'm glad it was so great! I can't wait to see it!

I was watching something about it today on tv...or was it in a magazine Anyways, they said they were sort of making fun of the Pirate cliches. Is that true, or is there cliche parts in it that makes you go..."dammit, another pirate film" for a moment.

I just can't wait to see it

It is a rather pirate flim. They do go out looking for treasure, fighting people, and many blowing up of small towns, and kidnapping the most beautiful woman of the whole flock. It is a PIRATE movie. And it is perdictable in some parts. Towards the beginning of the flim, when the lovely dasmel in distress is whisked away, you knew who was going to end up making babies with who... :P

It also, left some things open - that I still don't understand. But then again, Depp mumbled a little so I didn't understand! I would like to know one thing, that no one has been able to answer for me yet, but I can't say it here or I'll ruin the movie for all of you!

Does the damsel in distress make babies with Johnny Depp?! As far as i'm concerned the whole movie is about Johnny's character!

Maybe if you see it a few more times, everything will make sense. Some movies are like that When i get back from seeing it - i'll ask you!

I keep forgetting to post this! Stupid memory lapses!

I read on the TV that Disney is already planning a sequel to this movie.

WTF?! NO! DAMN YOU, HOLLYWOOD!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!! What's with the all the f***ing sequels? GRR!!! I'm very angry that they would do that to a wonderful movie such as Pirates!!!ARGH!!! Johnny Depp is just a genious in it, and if they are doing a sequel - he HAS to be in it; no one else can play Jack Sparrow as funnily and ingeniously as Johnny Depp!

What happens if Johnny Depp isnt even in the sequel? How about no Jack Sparrow?!

Maybe it will be like Pirates of the Indian Ocean..
Or Pirates of the Mediterranean ...
Or Pirates of the Cape of Hope...
Or Pirates of the English Channel...

They shouldn't have a sequel to it at all. Its a good movie on its own. Its a great movie.
