I'm not shocked as I really don't mind whether the song is going to be a b-side or not. I just think Nothing is a wonderful song, it's such a waste they "sold" it to someone else

Damn right. Sounds much better with Jon singing it, and the end of the chorus is way more effective just as "all that's ever left is nothing."

But then maybe we're a little biased

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I sounds exactly the same as Jovi's version... but with some rubbish vocals.

Actually, that's pretty "standard" in the business.

Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, AC/ DC, Metallica...they never did that. Whoever is the main writer gets th first credit.

And songs like Livn On A Prayer...maybe Jon and Richie have some input but it's clear that Desmond wrote it and sold it to them.

And Van Halen, Poison, Madonna, Spice Girls, etc. Def Leppard used to put all the writers in alphabetical order. It's not only Jon that puts his name first.
