Default The New Album

Just wondering what u guys hope the next album should be. My opinion is they have got to rock. I loved Hyde Park, I love Bonjovi but at the moment I am listening to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and excuse the pun but they were Red Hot in Hyde Park this year. Theres seems to be a lot more rock to there songs and a lot of emphasis on the guitar solos. Compare this to Bounce or most of Crush and I would be sorry to say that Bonjovi have lost it. I think they need another top notch rock album which is going to compete against the big boys such as the Chillis etc, the one thing I want Bonjovi to do before they retire is to get a British Number 1 - get rid of crap like Westlife, Rachel Stevens, this rap rubbish etc. What u guys think?? 15 or 16 true rock songs including 4 power ballads up with IBT4U and Bed of Roses, the rest having to include at least 4 rock classics to the standard of Prayer, Bad Name, Medicine etc

Aloha !

If Bon Jovi will be rocking like the Peppers on their new album, they've really lost it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

My wishlist:

12-14 tracks

Decent packaging. I feel they're quite good with the packaging actually, some of the CD covers are cool (KTF, Bounce, TLFR), and some of the booklets are cool too (Bounce, These Days, KTF)

A distinctive style for the album artwork and songs. Like These Days is, say, 'the darker album', they should go for another 'the (something) album'.

A return of the Flying V from Bounce for those heavier guitar sounds

An opening track with a proper instrumental introduction

Experimenting with instrumental solos. Proper guitar solos (no other instruments playing), bass solos, keyboard/piano solos, drums solos, perhaps vocal solos? (very rare)

Guitar solos of decent length, but not like the same riff repeated for about 6 hours. Although at least one song with an incredibly strong memorable riff would be great. But mainly, excting experimental solos

Yeah, songs that rock, but not a copy of any of their earlier material. Something new. That's what I liked about Bounce and TLFR, they managed to be different. But still something that gets the adrenaline flowing.

Not asking for much, am I?

Keep On Rockin'

Yeah, and if they're gonna be like the ones on Bounce then I'd say that one is too much.

You know the reason richie sounds huge on bounce has more to do with the bognor amps he was using and not the V.

I really want them to get a single at No 1 , they were so close last time , it seemed like they would at Sheperds Bush then it all changed at teh last minute.

I want them to write without so many outside writers and, please, no cheesey out-of-a-bottle ballads like Thank You, All About Loving You, or Open All Night.
