Default Are there more hidden treasures to another box?

Hi guys.... I was thinking yesterday before sleep: Are there more unreleased songs to do another box like 100,000....?
Could BJ have 60+ songs never released?

What do you think?

Definately. At least when you consider all those great demos floating around. It was Obie's policy to not release anything some collectors might have heard already (apart from those few b-sides), so many stuff wasn't even considered just because some hard-core collectors have them in mostly weak quality.
I have the Slippery and New Jersey demos somewhere, but I never listen to it because it sounds shit. Some really great tunes in there that never made the album. All that stuff is on youtube, but I want a HQ release. Just one thing comes to my mind, which has been discussed here some time ago, the alternate version of "Bitter Wine".

And given the fact that BJ were really productive in the studio until about 2000, there must be more never-heard before outtakes from all the albums. "Sex Sells", the song, is one of those myths...

You're right.... I have the Slippery and NJ outtakes and there're some amazing songs like "Now and Forever" and "Backdoor to heaven".

I'm thinking another thing, outtakes from 7800 Fahrenheit (1 was released on box) and Blaze of Glory... how I would like to know if exists.

BTW.... the alternate version of BW is awsome.

And Nothing. A remastered version of that would be fantastic. Along with the original version of HAND.

But it got me thinking, what about demos from The Circle? There's got to be more songs from the sessions. They didn't just make the 12 songs (and possibly TIOH) and called it a day. They had SOOO much to write about, where are the other songs? I'd also imagine there's a demo or two from the GH sessions (like This AIN'T Love, This Is Life).

i also remember back in 1990, before Blaze Of Glory was released as a single to radio, Z100 premiered what appeared to be a demo of Blaze Of Glory with slightly different lyrics. I had this on audio tape a LONG LONG time ago, but my brother accidentally erased it. Damn i wonder if anyone else ever paid attention to this. AND i am 100% positive it was different, no doubt about it

i sent it as a Q&A to Obie to confirm....wonder if he'll answer it. never got one of my questions answered.

...and Dirty Little Secret, which is quite possibly my favourite post-2000 song.

there must be much more stuff that wasn't released on the 100.000 boxset. they most likely have enough demos and outtakes for another 4CD boxset, even if they'll never release it.

Dirty Little Secret was released on some versions of Have A Nice Day.

I'd like the original 2004 pre release version of Have A Nice Day (which includes Nothing anyway) in full and in CD quality, rather than odd songs scattered over 4 discs. Sex Sells (the song) and Revenge (which later became Keep The Faith).

Though what is the likelyhood of another box set? Not anytime soon I'd imagine. Still, it's nice to imagine.
