It was Bon Jovi and Skid Row when he was 13 years old and he spent the whole concert watching a girl in a black leather outfit. He later told Jon about it (mentioned that he and Jon were friends) and Jon said that was the sign of a great concert.

Jon didn't realize Dierks thought Jon was the girl in the black leather outfit though.
