Exactly. Where nothing from These Days ever gets any slack. I prefer Hearts Breaking Even by the way. I'm done with Cryin'. When I heard it for the first time I thought it was amazing, now I think it's just a very good song, where as Hearts Breaking Even to me is one of the highlights of These Days.

as much as i HATE to admit it... Seb is right.. this is a jovi site and HBE will win.. as much as i LOOOOVE HBE (u dont realize how much i love that song) i had to go with cryin'.. i will put cryin' as one of my top 3 aerosmith songs... but these days is my fav album of any artist.. there are veeeeeeerryyy few songs i would vote infront of a jovi song.. but cryin is one of them..

Cryin' for me. though both great.

And yes both are similar, as are Aero's 'The Other Side' and BJ's 'Flesh and Bone'. But both wrote with Desmond so I imagine that's where the similarity comes from.

The Other Side and Flesh And Bone aren't that similar, they just have the same sort of chorus melody. Far more similar are Angel and I Want You IMO, I ALWAYS start singing Angel after the intro of IWY

HBE was one of those songs that I was really addicted to "in the beginning" (of my fandom, that is), so maybe I overplayed it then or something, but I just don't listen to it anymore. I find it kinda boring I guess.

I was the other way around. I never use to listen to Hearts Breaking Even when I first got These Days album, but now I cant stop listening to it. Its not the best track on the album, but its top 5 at least.
