Has anyone on here actually ever had jet lag? You are all making it out to be somethine that is a real disability. It is easy to act energetically for 3 minutes, even if you do feel tired, cos that is all it is, it is them feeling tired.

Let's be realistic here, people aren't going to buy a single on the strength of one TV appearance, no matter how good or bad it is.
If people are going to buy it, it's because they've heard it on the radio and like it.
Also i just don't think the guys like doing any TV performances, because t either Jon is the only one actiually singing to a backing tape or the entire band are miming. For instance when they done TOTP2 apart from It's My life which Jon did sing, they were miming to the other songs, and i thought it was terrible - you can tell Jon hates miming and he's not very good at it (which he should be proud of) LOL!

And that's what I tried to say - Jetlag causing tiredness.Hell if I'd done 34 hours flying in a matter of a week,I'd be bloody tired that's for sure! My daughter suffered jetlag for a week after flying back from Florida last year and she's only 3! Took her the whole week to recover from it poor kid.

Little Runaway 76 - I think you misunderstood my point. My point was that jet lag is no excuse for giving a bad performance.

Default CD:UK Performance

Hi

If you go the "Daily Grind" on bonjovi.com you will see that Bon Jovi were recording at CDUK this morning but at 1pm! which proves that this mornings performance was recorded last week (hence the same clothes and jetlag).

Just thought I'd let you all know

Louise

Thats right. However - if u r gonna appear on national TV promoting a single - the performance should be electric (ideally) - My brother who went to the Wembley show with me & loved it wondered if it was the same guy. Hence - if that performance can't be delivered (& Jon must have been in some state not to be able to raise his game just for 3 mins) then it shouldn't be done. I'm not having a dig @ Jon - I know the hectic schedule they have. However this performance will pave the way for a large audience's choice of single next week, & its a shame when I know he can do so much better.

It was only one TV performance, CD:UK performances are never any good from any groups, so I don't think many non-Bon Jovi fans are really going to care much.
To see the real Bon Jovi wait until the Bonce Tour.

So what is a good excuse for it then? For christ sake, they'd only just got off the plane when they had to record that performance.I'd like to see you do better straight after getting off a plane and from a 10 hour flight from America to here.
Nobody can be expected to be on top form when they've just got off a long haul flight and have to go straight into a tv studio to do a performance.
Obviously you haven't suffered with jetlag and don't know just how tired you feel from it.
