The only part of the song I think is bad is the solo. It just lacks something

It's a really good song IMO, lyrically great ("I light a candle in the garden of love / to blind the angel looking down from above" ... how can anyone not love that line?!), and I love the almost electro-ish vibe it has, although I can imagine that that probably turns some people off

No doubt at all, I love this song!!! It should of been released as a single, would of racked up huge sales. I wonder how come the guys never play any of the bonus tracks live? The only bonus track I can think of ever being played live is All I Want Is Everything

The singer is having an affair with a woman who is in a relationship (married?) with someone else. It's obviously a (dirty) secret, a sin etc - hence all the religious imagery in the song.

It tastes so bittersweet coz I know it's not mine

Give it another listen, I think it will make sense now.
(Although you might still not like the song, haha).
