But you also have to throw all the songs that we've heard that Jon wrote for Sex Sells into the bridge mix (pardon my pun). I think they were looking for radio friendly and hits with Crush and Richie does tend to be the one who goes for radio friendly. Jon has said that Richie keeps him from going too far left. {And I do not think that's a bad thing. No hits = no sales = no reason to tour = Becky's home bored. }

I don't particularly like either one of their solo efforts but if I had tro choose I like Richie's CD's better. Truly, there has to be a reason their biggest hits (with the exception of Blaze, Always, and Bed of Roses) have been when Jon and Richie write together. Richie being more radio minded isn't a bad thing either. Don't forget Jon didn't even think Livin' On a Prayer should have been on Slippery. Richie had to convince him.
And I agree with Becky, if there's no tour to look forward to, I'm sitting home pissed or going to see someone else to try to satisfy my concert itch.
