Heh, I have to agree with that

Maybe by "filler" tracks they mean tracks that are neither singles or fan-favourites. Although "fan-favourites" is a pretty subjective thing

I don't know why, but the only "filler track" that I can't listen is "To the fire" from 7800*.
The 2nd is "Woman in love".

Ok, I think I'll be crucify.

I have one question about the lyrics. I really don' get this part (the bold ones)

Quote:
Running with the rats through the city
Makes you feel like you´re a partner in crime
Girl once you won´t stop to watch
That little girl did
Can someone, please, re-write it with other words, put there punctuation or whatever to make it clear? I think it doesn't make any sense.
I think the word "did" is extra there but without out it it is silly (why to watch some little girl?) Is it supposed to mean that if you (addressed to some girl) will not stop watching (or to watch.. - is this the trick?) something, something is gonna happen (or not happen)?? I'm really trying hard but unsuccessfully.

I have to say that I did not pay much attention to lyrics of this song and it was a mistake, the lyrics are really really great!!

Thanks for your answers

I think its kinda like:

Running with the rats through the city
Makes you feel like you´re a partner in crime
Girl once you were young and pretty
Now won't you stop and watch that little girl "die"?

Oh, that sounds familiar!!

I'm at work and I don't have the song here and I can't listen to it on youtube, so I downloaded the lyrics from the net - so it seems they are wrong!! Gotta check the booklet when I'm at home.
Thanks.. I look so stupid now, didn't I?

"Fear" is really-really-really great song. This and "Save A Prayer" point to the direction I always hoped they would've gone. It's raw, honest and still very much Bon Jovi!

I consider album filler tracks to be songs that were written and added for the sole purpose of adding lenght or tracks to a record. I don't see any songs from Slippery, New Jersey, KTF or These Days to be fillers, since they were at their creative and prolific peak during that whole 10 year period.

"Just being here we're breathing heart attacks" What an amazing line... Jon hasn't written like that in a long time.
