Now that you mention it, they do sound a lot alike. I really love Cryin', but Hearts Breakin Even takes it for me. It's one of my top 3 Jovi songs.

Hmmm... I don't think they sound similar... I have to listen to both of them again before I decide.

I would even venture to say this isn't the first time this happened. Obivously even non-Jovi fans know Wanted Dead or Alive. But...ever listen to Joe Walsh's "The Confessor"?

The intros are very similar and even some of the lyrics seem reminiscent.

Only the intro and a lyric or two, the songs themselves don't sound very similar. Anyone?...

Hearts breaken even is a fantastic song..... you can listen the feeling of the song.... almost like the whole These Days... so it gets my vote

I don't think the two songs sound the same. I think Cryin' is a power ballad whereas Hearts breaking even isn't, it's ... I don't know what it is. A few months ago I would've said Cryin', it's a great song. But now, Hearts breaking even is the one with more meaning to me, so I have to go with that one. I hadn't listened to it for ages and actually noticed that it's good

Wre you ever expecting the results of this poll to be any different, when posting on a Bon Jovi board?!?!

I believe you asked a question you already knew the answer to, missy, to affirm your belief in your chosen band, because Aerosmith has gained more critical acclaim over the years, and though they have taken a downturn somewhat of late, are far more popular with the plebian masses of the MTV generation Rome. However, their fans do not have fair representation here, and Bon jovi fans have a far more than fair majority share of Board users. Thus! You secured your choice, which would usually be the underdog, as champion over a greater being, creating a fairytale ending to a tiny thing, but one that makes you feel good.
I therefore believe that this points to your massive insecurities as a person in the real world, and I must warn you that seeking to appease these insecurities in the relative social safety net of a Message board often makes the problems you are dealing with in real life much harder to handle.

Now go on. Prove me wrong. Tell me you voted for Crying.
