Agreed. A bunch of the songs on the setlist could really use a re-working like that. They seem tired and forced sometimes.

i think they need to change the setlist quite a bit. from the bootlegs i've seen and the live performances i've been to everything just seems forced at the moment. jon always prides himself on how spontanious the band are but you just know what songs are gonna follow each other. i.e who says you can't go home followed by it's my life. the only songs that should follow each other are livin on a prayer-bad name and sleep when i'm dead - bad medicine.

I like the changes to BTBMB, the extended "Deep Inside" is really good, a nice addition live. I liked the way that a different medley was used during the UK leg on Bad Medicine, with different medleys at each of the shows I went to instead of just Shout.

The previous tours to this one, I'd totally agree. But the three shows I saw were all good. I didn't know what was next, we got rarities and the performances were good. But past tours, I agree.

it's much easier to hit high notes in normal tuning when you're doing a few takes in a studio booth then to do it when you're singing for 2 and a half hours 3 nights out of every 5 on tour...

singing in the shower or along to the radio and actually doing it properly in a band are two very different things.
Again, itīs really not about that he canīt reach the notes! Sleep when Iīm dead is not a problem for Jon, they have like twenty songs that he has more trouble with than this one.

Many many artists change the melody a little in some songs live and that is what Bon Jovi has done. Nothing more, nothing less. Not becuase of that the notes are too high, not in this case.
If the change is good however is another question.

Agreed. He changed the melody in the chorus for Just Older a few times this tour and I don't have the slightest idea why.

Sleep has been performed quite lazily at least here in the US for a while. It seems they do the medleys ie. Dancing in the Streets, Jumpin Jack Flash, etc. alot more in Europe than they do here. Adding those in Sleep here would make me happier. Still even though it is not one of my favorite songs I always find myself dancing and singing along to it when i am at an actual show.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Speaking of Born To Be My Baby, does anyone other than me remember when Jon would play the harmonica at the end of this song? I always liked that!! He did it a lot on the NJ tour.

Oh yes. I have a couple of boots with that at the end which I LOVE!! I LOVE when he plays the harmonica. Wish he'd bring it back on that song and These Days too!

I've only ever heard the acoustic version of btbmb with the harmonica. i'm hoping to add a cover version of that song on here soon so keep your eyes peeled.
