It's kinda both, if that's possible.

It was recorded by Jon solo for the Very Special Christmas 2 CD and is credited to him on that CD.

When it was released as a single (with I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Xmas and Back Door Santa as b-sides) it was released as a Bon Jovi (band) christmas single, hence the old logo on the cover.

However, the band did not play on this track and if you ever see the clip, it's credited to Jon also.

Its a Jon solo song, although it was given a Bon Jovi (band) catalogue number!

It's a Jon-song. The single is probably named BJ because there are some more Christmas songs on it that are played by BJ.

When they show the video on TV there also stands JBJ.

Yes, I know this. It probably "should" be a Jon solo CD, but from a technical point of view, it's manufactured as a Bon Jovi single and is catalogued as a Bon Jovi song, as Paul UK has pointed out.

Bit weird though, because it was released on the Keep The Faith single too .
