But this song is a cover,i think,or am i wrong?

Not so long ago i listen on the radio this song but the singer wasn't Jon,he seemed a old man....the dj didn't say anything about the singer,so i have this doubt.......

Yes it is a cover. So is "Backdoor Santa" I think. Jon did write "I wish everyday could be like christmas" tho.

It's a cover. The original belongs to the Eagles. The singer's called Don Henley.
