i never bother about singles as long as i can see the band live...

but by the same token wouldn't you all love them to have released a song like neurotica that could really show the world that they can still rock...

bare in mind the only things people know of the band that don't have the back catalogue etc are it's my life, say it isn't so (dance sort of mix for UK), all about lovin' you, thank you for loving me... and if we extend it back perhaps always for the older, but not "old 80s" fans...

the public must (and do from when i have spoken to people) seem to think they are a very soft pop/rock band that sings about loving girls...

without sounding rude the thing that made rock music in the 80s was that the bands were singing about the lifestyle and (livin' in sin) not wanting to love a woman but to do sometohing else!

i hear some of you say, "it's different now, they have children and are married" and that i agree, but the same was true of these Days albums and they were the most sophisticates songs they have written and weren't about love so much, but more about LIFE...

the band are still married and apparently happier than ever so why all of a sudden have they turned their backs on 1995 and started writing as if they want to show 13 year old girls a good time (I don't mean that in a paedophilic way - I'm just saying that some of the lyrics would translate perfectly into Britney Spears songs etc)...

i'd like the band to be writing (or at least showing the media and public) songs about life, not love anymore... the distance at least is a song devoid of love in a way - though the chorus!!...

all i'm trying to say is it would be great to show the people i'm always arguing with about BJ that they are a rock band

I agree with you Becky...I am actually sick of Bon Jovi love ballads. How sad is that. I wish Bounce didn't include any, to tell you the truth. Not one of them really appeals to me except maybe You Had Me From Hello, but I can't get past the whole Jerry Mcguire thing.

I think love me back to life is the best on the album, and would make a great video. An up tempo love song could do very well in the charts (the callings "wherever you will go", Lifehouse's "hanging by a moment" were huge hits) and LMB2L is obviously better then those. I really wish they'd give it a chance...if not a single, at least play it live!

Default Could be great

Love Me Back to Life is perhaps the most single-worthy song on Bounce, next to The Distance. I feel it would be very appealing to modern audiences. Not only that, it's a great song in itself, with some of the best guitar playing on the album. I hope it or The Distance are the next single. Otherwise, I think Bounce has just about run its course on the radio.

there's also a very similar riff in the distance which rocks!!

prob the 2 best riffs on the album i think

shame they couldn't have used them a little more as part of the song

also reminds me a little of the riff to my guitar lies bleeding in these arms going into the guitar solo

I really prefer Love Me Back to Life. All About Loving You is OK, but not worthy enough to be a single. I haven't really cared for a Bon Jovi ballad since This Ain't a Love Song, and that took a lot of getting used to. I'm sooooo glad to see I'll Be There For You on the set lists. Let's hope it stays on in the States too.

I tihnk any song on Bounce would be much better than all about loving you. Its the song I like least on the album.

Love me back to life is a great song and is my second favourite song on Bouce. The Distance is my fav so I do hope that it is released next!
