He was only 17 at the time though. Damn it I'm 17, and I wish I could write, sing and play half that well.

of cource, your right. The album is damn good for a 17 year old, who wrote everything, recorded it, and it was his first effort. However, I'd say that my first efforts are better than this... but to follow them up like Jon, well, that's what makes the genious, not the first efforts

Hey, R2D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas rules, and don't you forget it!

Sorry, it was a bit before my time I'm afraid. I only saw it on TOTP's 2 one day, out of the blue. It was indeed extremely funny, you've got all these guys in costumes, then arguably the coolest man on the planet stood looking slightly out of place.... You get the feeling that when they were doing the record, they said "we need a long haired rocker", and Jon walked past the room.... the rest is history

I really love the PSY, it's so comforting and an example for young singer/songwriters. You don't have to have thought provoking songs or anything really serious about life, most of these songs have to do with love & the way Jon sees it. It also shows there's always room for improvement vocally, musically, and lyrically, as this isn't Jon's prime yet. It's just the early beginnings of an amazing career of an amazing person.
