Default Question - KTF

Is there a version of Keep The Faith which has Save A Prayer, but not Starting All Over Again?

Or is it just both?

Either way, what countries are both of these CDs available in?

Aloha !

When it comes to the versions before the remasters :

The US version had 12 tracks, with one exeptional pressing that had as the 13th track Cama Da Rosas

The international version had 13 tracks, track 13 being Save A Prayer. There was an exception with a 12 track version, track 5 being Cama Da Rosas. There also was another version which had 13 tracks, track 13 being Cama Da Rosas.

The Japanese version is the only version that has 14 tracks on it, track 13 being Save A Prayer and track 14 being Starting All Over Again.

However, all remasters do not have any bonus track on them, the European version of the KTF remaster contains as the 13th track a live video from KTF, shot at Wembley. The same one that appears on the Live From London video and DVD.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

My old tape of KTF had only Save a Prayer and not Starting All Over Again. Such a shame I later bought the remastered version which has neither.

Erm... we're talking about the *album*, right?

Was Starting All Over Again ever available as a b-side of a single?

And also, which version of Keep The Faith album would be better buying; the remsatered version or the original? (which may be harder to find)

I'd go for the original Japanese issue. There you get the most songs. I really doubt if you really hear a difference between the remastered and the original versions, exept of you have a very expensive and high quality stereo.

Starting all over again was not on a single.

I'd also go for the Japanese issue, though it's much more expensive to get nowadays, it'll cost you more then twice as much as the original, unless you're living in Japan that is.

You don't need a very expensive and high quality stereo to hear the difference between the remasters and the originals. Listen to the guitar solo from KTF on the remasters and then on the originals, the remastered one has got a much clearer sound. The same for most songs, also the bass levels are better equalized.

Wrong. It has been released in France on the 2track edition of Bed Of Roses, on the limited edition 12" version and on the tape version of Bed Of Roses in the UK.

I actually asked if SAOA was ever a B-SIDE of a single, not if it was released AS a single.

Like if it was a b-side to KTF, Bed Of Roses, Sleep When I'm Dead or something.

I know, I think Sambo-Chris also understood this. I answered your question though.
