I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, or if it's what Becky was talking about, but I'm sure Raise Your Hands was used for a commercial.

I don't think they did it legally though. I saw a commercial for a product I can't remember, and there were people raising their hands, and saying "Raise Your Hands if...you like the product, or something.

I don't think they asked for permission to use the song, but just used a very very similar copy of it, with a slightly different melody than the real version. I'm sure that they copied the original. Darn fools...




By the way, Lay Your Hands On Me is more rocking...
