Interesting Jovi memorabilia story that happened to me tonight.
Alright, so this has to be the strangest piece of Bon Jovi memorabilia I’ve come across, with an even stranger story of how I got it. I was in Manhattan, and tooling around the Colony music store. (For those who don’t know, The Colony is a legendary sheet music store on Broadway, that also sells all kinds of old records and concert memorabilia.) Now I always look for Jovi stuff in there, as they have an ample supply of tickets/passes/press stickers and etc., mainly from the KTF era, and I happened to notice this parking placard from the Giants show in ‘89. I didn’t intend on buying it, as it’s simply a piece of cardboard, but I was curious how much they wanted for it, so I had one of the workers remove it from the locked case for me. He looked it over, couldn’t find a price on it, and ushered me to the back of the register. There he told me that there was no price on it, but since it was slightly damaged, and he saw no value in it anyway I could keep it for free. He proceeded to wrap it in a newspaper let me take it. Still not exactly sure as to why, but it’s certainly a story I won’t forget.

Albany, NY 12/12/05. JBJ to me from the stage: "You been a good girl this year?" (Reads my sign) "Jon, It's almost Xmas I've been a very good girl! Play Blood on Blood please!" (cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
