Now that's a toughie. Both of them are masterpieces in their own right and I love each of them to bits. I voted for Stranger though since it has been such a loyal companion when times got tough. The Answer, One Light burning and Father Time are some of the best songs ever written, both lyrically and musically. Richie has accomplished to create an atmosphere on Stranger that is second to no other record. Both Stranger and Undiscovered Soul range ahead all Bon Jovi records IMHO.

I wouldn.t go anywhere near as far to say his solo work overshadows anything the band has done, I think you are in the great minority there. As for someone else's post, Hard Times Come Easy and Chained are 2 of my favourite songs on Undiscovered Soul. I think Downside of Love is great too.

Impossible to choose! They're both OUTSTANDING masterpieces... There's an evolution between the two albums - though they remain similar all the same. Two of the most incredible records I've ever heard - fantastic from top to bottom!
