Default Taking It Back

I am just listening to it and what a kick ass hard rocker this is. I wish they once released a single like this . I don't really understand why Jon says it has a weak chorus ... I think the chorus is just fine. I hate long boring choruses anyway.

And Jon sounds amazing. Especially the "Before we tear this damn place down!" that's like so freaking awesome...WOW...I just realized AGAIN that I love this song. Unfortunately, much like all their hard rockers - I'll never hear it live.

He might have meant lyrically weak.

I don't like this one much.

The chorus was better when it was called "Tokyo Road". That's probably a BIG reason of why it didn't make it.

pretty 'throwaway' song to be honest, wouldnt have been missed if not included on the boxset. Not a rocker, and BJ dont have many of them anyway.

????

These 2 songs are for sure not from the same era, are they? No no no! Jon's voice sounds totally different! I would say Taking It Back is from the early 90s, around the same time as Good Guys Don't Always Wear White

I'm not saying they're from the same era. GGDAWW was '94. I'd put Taking it back as '91ish. The lyrics make me think that they had just gotten back together to write for KTF. The chorus is VERY remiscent of Tokyo Road. The melody, hell, even the words. The "Take me baaaaaack" and "Taking it baaaack" are very similar. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Got you wrong in the first time.

Still, it's a much better song than Tokyo Road which I never really liked!

Ok, I am off to Düsseldorf now! YAY!

I agree with Captain that Taking it Back and Tokyo Road sound waaaaay alike. Thought so the first time I heard it. But having said that I like Tokyo Road much, much better!

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

The chorus is indeed weak. Definitely a B side.
