Aloha !
While having the big setlist debate with Pedro Badname in the tour forum I noticed that eventually more people digged this song than I thought. So, should they keep playing it, or do you agree that it should never ever should have been recorded and played live? For every time we got Capt. Crash we could've gotten a better song and yet there's Jon, Richie and Hugh swinging their guitars again.
Personally, I think the song goes nowhere. It's lyrics might be original for a Bon Jovi song, but eventually it builds up to, well, it actually doesn't build up at all. It drags as a live song, has no guitar solo, the riff is annoying, and the tudutuu, tudutuu serve no purpose.
Also, and I've said it before, listen to this song:
Think about that band whatever you want, but it becomes obvious that Capt. Crash is a direct rip off from the Oasis B-side Stay Young. A song Oasis didn't think was good enough for their album. And a song that has better vocals and guitar work than Capt. Crash has.
I think all the fools in the pit with their confetti, trying to make it look like a "fun" song are a bunch of idiots. And that wave they try to start up everytime is something you do at a Gareth Gates concert. Not a Bon Jovi show. Just my thoughts.
So, what do you think? Capt. Crash, yay or nay?
Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
