if you REALLY want to hear it you could say stay young was ripped off but in all fairness there's only so much you can do with 3 chords and a swinging beat like that.

I love Captain Crash.

The best performance I've seen of it was at Shephard's Bush Empire though, after that, they haven't have been as good.

It kinda' feels like they go through the motions with this song now - which results in the feeling of the song being lost somewhere.

I wouldn't like to hear it every night - but don't mind it being played every couple of shows or so. Maybe the band need a break from it too.

I like it just because it's a bit different for Bon Jovi, and the lyrics are certainly original.

I'd love to see or read how Jon reacted to being called out on this song.
Remember anything else??

I kinda liked it when Crush was released, and didn't mind hearing in on the following tour. Now, however, I'm totally fed up with it. It's a nay for me.

I wish it had never been written or recorded. I don't get to many concerts (5 in 22 years) and I hate that I've heard it THREE times, when there are so many other great songs I've never heard even once. So a definite NAY for me!

Judging just the song, not anything about how good it live, how often it's played etc, it's a nay for me.

I enjoy hearing it, but i can only take about 2 minutes of it

YAY: for the recorded version. Perfectly snuggled between the dross on Crush to offer some light relief and a bit of fun.

NAY: for the live version. Goes on FOREVER, and has been in the set for far too long. Get rid!!

I quite like the song, the studio version usually puts a smile on my face, the lyrics are cool and a bit off the wall, and it's got a really nice guitar tone. I agree it's quite well placed on the album too, if the tracklist ran straight through Mystery Train - Save The World - She's A Mystery - I Got The Girl that would be a bit much

Live it's alright, like Raise Your Hands it's got a nice crowd participation element to it, which is always fun. However, also like Raise Your Hands, I don't think they need to play it all the damn time

And it really does have some similarities to that Oasis song doesn't it? Although it's mainly just in the intro and chorus, not enough to call it a direct rip off IMO. I'd also be interested in seeing what Jon had to say if he was called out on the similarities

Not a bad song, but not good enough to be in the setlists above others. Its had its time!
