He didn't look down at it- it was there in case he needed it. I have seen both Jon and Bruce forget the words in concert on a couple of occasions. Bruce called his moment an Alzheimer's moment.

That is not cute. That's stupid. He's probably singing it only 2 times live in his entire life, and can't sing it without needing a lyrical sheet.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
whats the problem with that? he has to remember so many lyrics he´s just a human beeing why not using a chat sheet in case he forgets the lyirc. as long as he isn't looking at it all the time

i think Seb's point was: Jon is a proffessional singer, therefore he shouldnt have to use a cheat sheet! True he has lots of lyrics to remember, but proffessional singers shouldnt need to read the words as he goes along...proffessional singers are supposed to perfect their songs before attempting to "try" and perform them live infrom of an audience.

... and speaking on his behalf he also meant that specifically a DVD-filming requires a certain level of professionalism, higher than normal for BJ

wonder if tonight they will restart video takes... might be a long broadcast

That is not true at all- is Bruce a professional? He had lyric sheets when The Rising tour began. Not at all unheard of. My daughter was in theatre all summer they had stuff posted all over the place and she was trained by New York Broadway directors and choreographers. Just curious how many of those who think a professional singer does not need this have actually sung in public?
