There's a load of the 80's bands still around. Just because you haven't heard from them doesn't mean they've "died". What about bands like Twisted Sister, WASP, Cinderella, Poison, Warrant, Great White, Tesla... They're all still going strong.

He meant something else...Bon Jovi and Def Leppard are the only bands that are still able to sell over 100.000 in the US and over 1.000.000 worldwide.

And you still hear them on radios(not rock radios)and you still see them sometimes on MTV.

That's EXACTLY what I mean. I didn't mean to bash all the bands you just mentioned. I still see Def Leppard videos being played on Kerrang and Scuzz, etc.

I love DL. BJ, DL and Aerosmith are my 3 favorite bands in the world. I saw DL in concert last May in Houston, it was a very good show. I had a little red LED light sign that I would wave and the guys pointed at me and laughed and said thank you. I like Slang too! Euphoria and few songs, X I love the whole album. It depends on the person as to how they like the albums.

Thanks for all the replies

The 80s bands are the only bands i am interested in, for the 80s style of course.. i don't think i listen to any 90s bands seriously

i thought deff leppard were still goin strong, seems like i was wrong..

just to irritate you people do you think bonjovi will ever outsell shania twain, micheal jackson, acdc.....

i hope they do, then i'll have something more to boast about bonjovi

Back In Black sold over 30 million records...Slippey sold 23 million.


They have outsold Shania Twain but not AC/DC, NO!

are you crazy!?

AC/DC have sold 60 million in the US alone....AC/DC have a while ago sold 100 million.
It's quite unbelivable since they seem not to be as popular as Aerosmith for example but that's the truth.

I meant the records they're putting out now. AC/DC haven't really sold anything since Razors Edge.
